The Internet offers countless resources that address all aspects of planning for college.  The following sites have been selected for content and quality.  Please let us know if you see a need for additional areas of emphasis.

  • U.S. News site with college information
  • College for All Texans - Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board site with useful information on college planning, financial aid, college cost and other topics.
  • ApplyTexas - ApplyTexas was created through a collaborative effort between the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board and the colleges and universities represented on the site. The goal of the project is to offer a centralized means for both Texas and non-Texas students to apply for admissions to any Texas public university, as well as to participating community and private colleges.
  • Adventures in Education  - Site sponsored by the Trellis Company (formerly TG).
  • Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts   - This site contains a wealth of information related to higher education, jobs, tuition savings plans, information on Texas colleges and much more.
  • Major Choices  - Calculator allows you to see how your choice of school or major may affect your bottom line.
  • College Scorecard  - U.S. Department of Education sponsored site with information about college’s to help you make informed decisions about which college to attend.
